Faun Yodice - Owner, ACE Certified Personal Trainer

I have always been an athlete, volleyball, softball, basketball, whatever kept me active, and I have always loved working with people. From an early age, I started working in service industry. Love of the warmer weather brought me to SC, where I completed my BA in experimental psychology and sociology at USC. While attending USC, I was a lifeguard, bartender and waitress. I meet some characters along the way, and each interaction only made one thing clear, I do not want to work behind a desk. I love communicating with people and being active. When my boyfriend, now husband, started working as a personal trainer, I immediately fell in love with lifting. My entire being was focused on the gym, and not only experiencing the transformation in my body but also in my confidence and self esteem. It is because of this passion that I left the service industry, and sought a career in physical fitness. After 11+ years of personal training and group instruction, I am proud to use all my experience and knowledge to have built Jax’D Fitness along with my husband, best friend and business partner. Together we have designed a gym that embodies our love of fitness and the strong community it builds. We have combined two of our of our greatest passions, physical fitness and animal rescue/adoption to create our studio. We have partnered Jax’s rescue group team, Lucky Dog Refuge, to give a continuous donation from every training session completed. It is our belief that health and wellness must come full circle, and that starts with love and family. We want to empower our clients to make Jax’D Fitness part of their extended families. We will become stronger together. #wegotthis !!!

Josh Yodice - Owner, ACE Certified Personal Trainer

I have always been athletic, growing up playing football, soccer, and wrestling.  After I graduated High School, the sports unfortunately ended, but I never quit the gym. I continued to strive for more. I worked in the service industry for many years, then attended the Paul Mitchell School of Cosmetology.  After graduation, I was a hairstylist for about 4 years. While working as a stylist, I started attending classes at a boutique training studio next to my salon, where I was immediately hooked on functional fitness and the benefits I experienced. This was my new addiction.  After about 6 months of training and consistency, the owner of the studio saw potential in me and offered to coach me to become a personal trainer and work along side him. Once certified and working as a full time trainer, the sky was the limit.  I learned how to share my love of fitness and emit that positive energy to others.  Functional fitness was just the beginning for me; I also took interest in olympic lifting, battle ropes, kettlebells , powerlifting, HIIT, and spartan races. Fitness is all about variety, one program does NOT fit all! After 15+ years of personal and small group training, I am proud to use my knowledge and expertise to build Jax’D Fitness with my wife, best friend, and business partner.  Together we've built a gym that embraces our love of fitness and the strong community it creates. We have combined two of our passions, physical fitness and animal rescue/adoption to create our studio. We have partnered with our dog, Jax’s rescue group, Lucky Dog Refuge, to give a continuous donation from every training session completed. It is our belief that health and wellness must come full circle, and that starts with love and family.  We want to empower our clients to make Jax’D Fitness part of their extended families. We will #be_relentless and become stronger together. #GetJax’D!
